Dreams really do come true!
We bought a dozen chicks about a year ago and fell in love with them (chicken math happened and now we have 26 egg layers). That's where the story began. It became incredibly important to us to see for ourselves, and to teach our children, where our food comes from. It's something I'll never give up. We had a garden, we had the eggs, but we did not have any meat source. As a result, we have been working incredibly hard to get our pasture poultry business up and running. It's 2023, and we're doing it!
Let us share the farm to table life with you. Though you're not in our pastures with us, you can watch videos and see photos of our chickens and show your family where their food comes from! The Farm Shoppe will be opened as soon as we have items to place into inventory!
If you asked either of us even 5 years ago, "Do you ever see yourself becoming farmers?" we would have laughed at you. A chicken farmer? We would've laughed even harder! Neither of us has a farming or business career. Not even close. But sometimes, an idea and an opportunity align. Then it becomes a dream, and dreams can become reality! We are building this from the ground up, researching every step and seeking guidance. We have looked in so many different spots for "help" or tutorials, and they are few and far between. The ones we find are misleading. We'll walk you through our journey, from the very beginning! The good, the bad, and the ugly.
